Innovation through technology
The Parts Alliance has been responsible for industry firsts since it began
To provide market leading service, The Parts Alliance has focused on innovation and technology. We were the first strategic partnership of our kind between automotive parts distributors and our group has continued to be a leader in both strategic and technological innovations in the automotive aftermarket.
There are many examples of our own innovative internal systems as well as ground-breaking services and software.
AlliCat is the leading parts catalogue that enables us to identify the right parts for our customers. It is unique to The Parts Alliance providing us with the ability to find the right parts for millions of vehicle applications quickly and efficiently.
STARS (stock analysis and recalculation system) is an innovative system that ensures we hold the right stock in the right location. Monitoring stock levels and demand 24 hours a day, it allows us to accurately forecast individual branch needs.
To monitor our performance and maintain our service level, PARC (Parts Alliance Reporting and Compliance) was developed as a dedicated reporting system for The Parts Alliance. It enables us to be able to pin point every part we’ve supplied by car registration number, operator, branch and customer.
In 2015 we launched PartVend, a true world industry-first using specialist vending machines to give greater access to parts out of hours. Launched in partnership with the AA, PartVend provides 24 hour access to popular parts required by its patrols. All machines are electronically linked so that we can tell instantly which parts are being used and when to replenish the stock.
Parts Alliance members also have access to GS Onestop, our own powerful garage management software available to garages. It is exclusively sold through The Parts Alliance network.
