In 2014 following the dissolving of the Unipart network, Parts Alliance Group acquired 15 former Unipart sites across England and Wales and integrated them into the Parts Alliance network of automotive part distributor branches. Seven of the newly-acquired branches assumed the brand identity of existing Parts Alliance Group distributors, CES UK, GMF Motor Factors and SC Motor Factors, due to their proximity to existing pre-established branches.
The remaining eight distribution outlets located in the South West of England began trading under the Parts Alliance brand, representing the values of the overall Parts Alliance network and building on best practices from both the network and formerly acquired businesses.
These Parts Alliance branches received heavy investment and have now become a leading distributor throughout the South West region. Key investment areas included recruiting the right people to run each branch, improving stock profiles using a network expertise, increasing stock levels and improving service through an updated delivery vehicle fleet as well as implementing class leading systems.
Through the application of what is now standard business practice, Parts Alliance branches are profitable locations and welcome representations of the Parts Alliance name in the marketplace. Parts Alliance branches ensure that all customers in the area receive the highest level of service, getting the right part on time, first time.
