Spring Garage Essentials packed with all new bargains

The Parts Alliance’s Spring Garage Essentials features a huge number of new suppliers and exclusive products.

Garages can gleam again thanks to the new Angry Jester hot and cold pressure washer, new in at only £895 + VAT just in time for spring cleaning. Also in for the first time come 100% original fully supported dealer diagnostics tools from Maverick showcased on the cover and pages 6 to 7.

The group continues to build on the runaway success of the Bendix braking brand with a new range of brake tooling and bleeding solutions. The original Bendix Flutest brand found on the first patented tester is reprised for a brake fluid tester with optional printer. There’s also an offer on the fast-selling Bendix Diagnostic and Service tool now with 3 years’ free software updates.

With weather warming, the cover tempts garages to get 1234YF air con ready with a Denso air con service station at under £2,200 + VAT delivered.

Draper Tools makes a welcome return to Garage Essentials too with pages 24 and 25 showing new automotive trade tools including a digital 3D four wheel aligner, service tablet and code readers. Roller cabinets, a technician’s ‘megakit’ and cleaning equipment complete the line up.

Absolute Alignment offers the latest revenue-generating Bluetooth wheel aligners on page 33 whilst EAE debut new wheel alignment four post lifts from £5,995 + VAT.

Sykes Pickavant’s Carbon Tec HHO carbon cleaning machine appears on page 57 supported with a ‘call for demo’ offer as the units are available for garages to view on all the group’s fleet of eight tool vans.

“It’s an exceptional issue for new products,” said John Wright Product Marketing Director at The Parts Alliance. “There’s a lot here that we hope garages will get excited about seeing.

“We know last season 1234YF really arrived in the aftermarket, so the Denso a/c unit looks likely to sell well.

“We’ve also seen strong demand for carbon cleaning and feel the commitment to offer Sykes’ Carbon Tec HHO machine through our tool vans is going to be well received.”

The 68 page A4 publication is available now free to UK garages from all branches of The Parts Alliance members Allparts, Bromsgrove Motor Factors, Car Parts & Accessories, CES, GMF, SAS Autoparts, SC Motor Factors, Waterloo and GSF Car Parts.

The Parts Alliance introduces all-new Milwaukee tool van to fleet

The Parts Alliance has introduced a brand new Milwaukee tool van to the Garage Essentials fleet, helping the team to demonstrate the premium-quality tool range to garages all over the country.

Demonstrating the wide range of Milwaukee’s best-selling automotive tools, the VW Transporter is fully liveried in striking red and black, bearing both the ‘Garage Essentials’ and ‘Milwaukee’ branding.

This latest addition takes the total number of vans operated by The Parts Alliance to eight, and allows the Garage Essentials team to demonstrate the range regionally, with the help of staff from local branches who have already forged good relationships with the garages in their areas.

“These vans are invaluable resource for the Garage Essentials team,” explains John Wright, Product Marketing Director at The Parts Alliance.

“The most useful sales tool at our disposal is still often the ‘doorstep demo’, allowing customers to interact with the products and see the quality first hand.”

Such garage visits also give the team the perfect opportunity to respond to any practical questions technicians might have, doubling up as an informative training exercise too.

Products won’t be sold directly from the van, instead orders are made with the local branch representative on account for next day delivery.

Garages interested in seeing the Milwaukee tool van should keep an eye out with their local branch of The Parts Alliance.

Garage Essentials – Spring 2017

Biggest and best ever Garage Essentials

The new Autumn 2016 issue of Garage Essentials will be made available through all members of the Parts Alliance. Garage Essentials, originally used by GSF to showcase their quality garage equipment and tooling, has recently merged with Toolchest, a similar publication created by Parts Alliance. Both publications showcase the latest and best of what’s available from the UK’s finest equipment suppliers and brands.

John Wright, Head of Garage Equipment and Customer Development commented “We’ve found that around 85 per cent of the content is similar already between Toolchest and Garage Essentials as we’ve both been actively looking to work with the best suppliers.

It’s clear we can save a lot of time and energy by producing a single publication instead of two, offering suppliers a greater audience and circulation.”

To keep up with demand, Garage Essential’s print run will be extended by 20,000 copies in order to accommodate an increasing amount of Parts Alliance branches.

Previous issues of Garage Essentials can be found online on the GSF Car Parts website.
